Steel Blind Pop Rivets
Blind rivets, frequently referred to as “pop” rivets are used to fasten two materials together without the need to have access to both sides of the material. These dome head steel rivets come in a variety of diameter sizes and grip range. The first column below gives the rivet number, the material it is made of, shank diameter, and grip range. Blind rivets are installed using a rivet gun.
Example: 42S - 1/8'' .063-.125
- 42 – is the rivet number
- S – represents the material the rivet is made of, in this case S stands for Steel
- 1/8’’ – is the diameter of the shank of the rivet
- .063 - .125 – is the grip range of the rivet (the minimum and maximum thickness of material the rivet will fasten)
