Monobolt Rivets
Monobolt rivets are a structural rivet with an increased shear & tensile strength compared to traditional pop rivets. Monobolts can be used to join two pieces of metal or metal and plastic together. We carry both steel and aluminum monobolts be sure to pay close attention to the “A” or “S” after the rivet number when making your selection as this designates the material that the monobolt is composed of.
Example: 86S - 1/4'' .08-.375
- 86 – is the monobolt number
- S – represents the material the monobolt is made of, in this case S stands for Steel
- 1/4’’ – is the diameter of the shank of the monobolt
- .08 - .375 – is the grip range of the monobolt (the minimum and maximum thickness of material the rivet will fasten)
